Now Is The Time For National Single Payer Health Care

Now, we return to an issue we have been fighting for, from the very beginning when it was first introduced, H.R. 676, Single Payer Medicare For All [text of bill]. It is time for the American people to have what all other first world nations already have, and we will save massive amounts of money as a country in doing so. Instead of being gouged by greedy medical corporations, with H.R. 676 we will finally pay an affordable, fair market price for our health care.

When the Bush administration used to declare that all options were on the table, it was always an ominous threat that something bad was going to happen. And when a Democratic leader in the House would say that a particular option was off the table, you know THAT was the thing that most needed to be done. So what was Senator Max Baucus doing, Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, now that we have the votes to pass real medical reform, what was he doing saying that it is not on the table?
