Stop The Tantrum Over Planned Parenthood

We, the People, are getting really tired of threats to shut down the whole government if Republicans don't get their way.

The latest grandstanding tantrum is to demand that Planned Parenthood be defunded on false charges, namely the lie that they are in the business of profiting off the sale of fetal tissue. The video entrappers tried and FAILED to get Planned Parenthood to accept thousands of dollars, and none of these conversations would have even happened without active and determined instigation.

Some have argued that Planned Parenthood should be punished for providing abortion services at all, even if they didn't break the law. And there are theocrats in America clearly pushing to elect a president who will nominate, and senators who will confirm, enough religious fundamentalist judges to change constitutional law into canon law.

Until then, abortion remains the legal right of a woman according to the guidelines in Roe. v. Wade. And Planned Parenthood cannot be sanctioned for providing such options, let alone on false pretenses as a set up.
