Pass SB1272 In CA Assembly Appropriations Committee

Don't hold the voters of CA in suspense. Put SB1272, The Overturn Citizens United Act on the upcoming November ballot.

Every committee in the CA legislature that has taken this up so far has passed it by an overwhelming margin. Surely the CA Assembly Appropriations Committee will also hear the voices of the citizens of CA and do the same.

We applaud Chairman Mike Gatto, who has demonstrated his own independent leadership in calling for a constitutional convention, recognizing that applying pressure in that collateral way is also one of the most powerful ways to get Congress itself to bite the bullet.

And nothing will make all of this happen more that giving the people of CA the chance they deserve, to speak out on the necessity of a constitutional fix of some kind for the corrupt Citizens United decision.
