Require GMO Food Content Disclosure

If there was rat poison as an ingredient in a food product, do we have a right to know that? Not according to the GMO (genetically modified organism) industry. And yet the results of the first long term study of the effects of a GMO diet on laboratory rats were that most of the rats died. In other words, GMOs are LITERAL rat poison.

Some have tried to nitpick this first study for its methodology, but it cannot be denied that there is something going on here that we need to be informed about. And at a minimum consumers should be empowered to make their own choices about whether to consume GMO products, instead of sneaking it into our food supply blind.

Congress must listen to us, and not just the self-serving special interest poison companies, not only allow, but require, labeling of GMO content.
